This impressive artwork, situated on a prominent façade near the city park and Storgatan, stands as a testament to her global achievements.
Internationally renowned street artist Zabou created the mural, which was officially inaugurated on Sunday, September 7, after several days of meticulous work. Zabou expressed her admiration for the subject, noting: “I really love this image of Isabelle. She looks confident and gazes outward, perhaps toward the future. It was a beautiful expression to portray.”
Isabelle Haak, currently in Italy preparing for the new season with reigning champions Imoco Volley Conegliano, joined the ceremony via video link to share her appreciation. The Swedish Volleyball Federation was represented by board member Rolf Bernro, marking the significance of the event.

Another recent highlight was the successful hosting of the CEV European Golden League Final Four at Ängelholm’s impressive Catena Arena in June. This major event, a collaborative effort between the municipality and various partners, transformed into a vibrant volleyball festival, attracting record-breaking crowds for the Swedish women’s national team matches.
The national team recently secured a commendable 19th place in their inaugural FIVB Women’s Volleyball World Championship appearance and is eagerly set to compete in a historic EuroVolley on home soil in Gothenburg next year.

Zabou expresó su admiración por el tema, comentando: “Realmente me encanta esta imagen de Isabelle. Se ve segura y mira hacia afuera, quizás hacia el futuro. Fue una expresión hermosa para retratar”.
