En la competición masculina, en Ayvalik Sarismakli Plaji, la dupla turca Yusuf Özdemir y Batuhan Kuru se aseguró el primer puesto, para deleite de su público local. En la categoría femenina, Stefánia Flóra Kun y Lilla Villám llevaron la victoria a Hungría. También se otorgaron medallas a equipos de la República Checa, Finlandia, Letonia y Ucrania.

La victoria de Özdemir y Kuru marcó su primer oro en el Beach Pro Tour como pareja. Su emocionante final a tres sets contra los letones Ardis Bedritis y Arturs Rinkevics, que terminó 2-1 (17-21, 21-14, 16-14), fue un logro significativo para el voleibol de playa turco, especialmente ante sus aficionados.

Türkiye and Hungary claimed the concluding gold medals of the 2025 European Beach Pro Tour Futures season at the final tournament held in Balıkesir, Türkiye. The event, which wrapped up on Sunday, saw strong performances from both nations.
In the men`s competition at Ayvalik Sarismakli Plaji, the Turkish duo Yusuf Özdemir and Batuhan Kuru secured the top spot, delighting their home crowd. For the women, Stefánia Flóra Kun and Lilla Villám brought victory home for Hungary. Medals were also awarded to teams from Czechia, Finland, Latvia, and Ukraine.
Men`s Tournament Highlights
Özdemir and Kuru`s win marked their inaugural gold on the Beach Pro Tour as a pair. Their thrilling three-set final against Latvians Ardis Bedritis and Arturs Rinkevics, ending 2-1 (17-21, 21-14, 16-14), was a significant achievement for Turkish beach volleyball, especially in front of their fans.

In the gold medal clash, they secured their fourth straight-sets win of the tournament, overcoming Czechs Anna Pospisilova and Michaela Brinkova 2-0 (21-18, 21-18) to clinch the title.
Finland`s Sara Sinisalo and Anniina Muukka, who also started from the qualifier, earned the bronze. They triumphed in a close two-set encounter (21-19, 27-25) against Germans Sophia Neuss and Mareet Maidhof.

The Balıkesir Futures marked the 25th and final event in Europe for the 2025 season, spanning from May to September. Throughout the year, 15 different European countries hosted these Futures events. The Beach Pro Tour Futures events, organized by CEV in collaboration with Volleyball World, play a crucial role in offering European teams opportunities to compete and accumulate valuable international ranking points.
